THE VALENTINE'S PARTY

I know that Valentine's Day is WAY OVER, but I just forgot about these pictures from our little Valentine's Party we went to. A group of women from my church got together for a cute Valentine's Party. I was excited to go and we each had to bring a treat so wanting to be soo cute I thought of the great idea of making jello and then using a heart cookie cutter. In my mind it was a great idea but then that morning when I started cutting out the jello hearts I realized it wasn't going to end up like I thought it was. By the time I had gotten to the party all the jello hearts I had looked just like a big lump of jello. Oh well I tried! Then I was so excited to get to be around real adults and for Andrew to get to play with other kids. Well, that idea didn't happen either b/c everytime I went to hang out with the moms Andrew would get upset and want me to sit with him and watch him play. He didn't want to play with anyone else either. I tried to get him to come do the Valentine card giving but he had a fit and just didn't want to leave this princess cash register and the one time that another kid dared take it away from him he didn't know what to do and was so happy once he got to play with it again. Enjoy the pictures from our Valentine Party story and don't laugh too hard at me and my jello and Andrew and his Princess cash register.

This is my great idea for jello hearts. Oh well!!!!

Andrew loved this casch register and the bright pink table and chair didn't bother him a bit. In fact he almost looks to comfortable with all the BRIGHT PINK.

I love Andrew's face b/c it says, "Are you sure you want to take the away from me?"

It was only a couple seconds until Andrew took back over the cash register. No other children tried to take it away from him again.

I think Andrew and his cash register look just great! Your jello hearts were a very creative idea-so sad that they melted. They remind me of some ice cream spiders I made for Josh's 1st birthday party (Charlotte's Web theme)--they were a mess!

I think there's a different recipe you have to use (jello jigglers with less water) not just the regular jello recipe if you want to be able to pick up the jello and eat it with your hands. But that was a cute idea. That's funny about Andrew and the cash register. :)
