The BIG hail storm

About a week ago we had a HUGE hail storm. I have never seen anything like this in my life.

Andrew and I had been at the park playing when it started to sprinkle so we went inside. No sooner had we gotten inside and it starts pouring. Whew that was close! Then all of the sudden the rain sounds really loud so I look outside and it is hailing about marble size hail. Andrew and I just stood out on our patio and watched in amazement. Then the hail started coming down harder and getting bigger so we went back inside and just watched out the window.

Our poor car got dinged up a couple of places but not bad at all compared to the damage reported on the news. They reported that car and house windows had been broken by the hail. We felt very blessed to have only dings when there was so much damage done by the storm.

I know it looks like snow but that is all hail.

The biggest we had was about quarter to golf ball size but there were some reports of tennis ball sized hail. Crazy Texas weather!
