Or in other words mommy and daddy running away together time. We had fun out in Washington, D.C. together. We spent most of our time out there at the practice management company Jon is a member of, Master's Circle, conference. The whole theme was on relationships though so even though it was a chiropractic conference I gained so much insight into how to make my relationships in my life better and even the talks about chiropractic I still enjoyed because I was able to spend time with Jon ALONE!!! I love Andrew, but it was so nice to just be together without him. We did spend some time seeing the sites in the mall area by the White House. Here are some pictures from our trip:
Here I am in front of the Capital Building. I was pretty disappointed though because we couldn't go inside. Oh well, at least I got to see the outside.
We got somebody to take out picture and if you look clear in the very back you can see the Washington Memorial.
Jon decided he needed a picture with the capitol building too, so here it is.
We went inside the Air and Space Museum, and Jon was just in awe of all the big planes and spaceships.
This plane is suppose to be a model of the Wright Brothers plane. Looking at this plane I was thinking I don't know if I would trust flying in this rickety old thing. I guess I am not very brave like the Wright Brothers were.
Here is Jon's manly picture with the spaceships.
Here we are by the Washington Memorial on our way to the Holocaust Museum. I was so touched by the Holocaust Museum and really made me think about everyone being equal and not discriminating against others just because they are different.
Here we are at the Korean War Memorial.
Here we are at the Lincoln Memorial.
Here we are standing in the exact place that Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his "I Have A Dream" speech. That was pretty cool.
Overall the trip was enjoyable and I learned TONS at the conference.
Thanks mom and dad for taking care of Andrew.

I love Washington DC. I spent a year there as a nanny and it is probably one of my favorite places to be. Glad you guys had fun!
