Easter 2010 in Review

Well we had planned on going up to my parents for Easter but right at the last moment I just got panicky and even got out of the car when Jon stopped to make a deposit at the bank before we headed off. So…we went home and I just cried and cried. Then Jon got me to take some Xanax for my anxiety and I was able to muster up enough courage to go to my parents. It just was extremely scary to be out of the house and going to my parents for the first time since I had withdrawn from dental hygiene school and gotten really deep in depression. YUCK!!! I am glad we went though b/c Andrew had a blast and I really enjoyed just hanging out with family and feeling the overwhelming love and support from them. THANKS FAMILY!!!

When we first got there I had some YUMMY lasagna and loved on Emma. Remember I had been to hell and back in only a couple hours so that is why I look so horrid is b/c I feel that horrid and torn up inside.

Andrew had so much fun playing with Autumn in the sand and just being together.

Also the “Easter Bunny” brought the movie The Princess and the Frog early and as you can see the kids really enjoyed that. It really is a cute movie. I love the fun music in it!

The next day I wasn’t sure if I was going to go to Aunt Sandy and Uncle Robert’s for the family Easter party but I actually ended up feeling just great and was even excited to go. It really was a little miracle of my very own.

We had a yummy shrimp boil with sausages, corn and potatoes.

Then a wrestling match broke out between Nick, Nate & Jon. I wonder who won? Hmmm maybe Jon!!

Then Shane, Andrew & Autumn had fun playing with marbles.

Andrew loved on Aunt Sandy’s dogs while we were outside hanging out. SO CUTE!!!!

Then we headed to the farm to play, ride the tractor which Andrew LOVED, fish and have our Easter egg hunt.

Uncle Robert was so cute with Andrew and let him “help” drive the tractor.

Next we hunted for Easter Eggs and Andrew did a great job! He really has gotten the hang of it and would quickly pick up the egg and move onto the next egg he saw.

Uncle Robert was very sweet and let Andrew and Autumn “help” him fish. Andrew really did like fishing but didn’t really like the fish.

On Easter day Lisa had bought some cute baskets for everyone and the Easter Bunny came and hid them. The kids had so much fun hunting for their hidden basket and seeing the fun goodies inside it. Thanks Aunt Lisa!

Before we could go hunt for our Easter basket we had to line up youngest to oldest.
