Exciting Day

Since we are going to be up at my parents for Father’s Day Jon decided to open Andrew’s present to him before we left today. Andrew was so excited to give his daddy the present. I don’t really know what it is suppose to be but Jon was so cute and acted like it was the best present he had ever received.

We decided to go out to lunch before Andrew’s swim lessons so we went to a yummy Mexican restaurant.

After Andrew was done eating he eyed this gumball machine and since today was a fun day we went over and got him one. It just amazes me that something so simple as a gumball could make Andrew so happy. I need to be more like him in that way.

I LOVE this picture, and not just b/c of what his shirt says…but b/c his smile and light in his eyes. This is my little boy at his best!

We decided to splurge again and got fried ice cream for dessert. YUMMY!

Today was Andrew’s last day of swimming lessons until August so they had him swim with his clothes on so if he ever fell in having his clothes on wouldn’t freak him out and he could still swim to the side and save himself.

He is doing SO GOOD at laying on his back and just relaxing.

When Courtney, his teacher, gave him a ribbon for finishing Aquatots class he was so excited and couldn’t wait to show Mimi & Papa his ribbon. (In fact he was so excited to go to Mimi & Papa's that he skipped going down the slide today! )YEAH ANDREW!!!

We left for Mimi & Papa’s after we picked up Trace, our dog, and a cake for this weekend. Andrew was such a good boy and just watched movies and eventually fell asleep on the way up there.
