Surprising Tuesday (July 6, 2010)

We woke up, watched cartoons, ate breakfast, and just relaxed until Mimi woke up and she surprised us and decided we were going to McDonald’s so off we went. Andrew was so excited to go play and get a Happy Meal. THANKS MIMI!!! Uncle Nick met us there too and then we went grocery shopping since Mimi is leaving for Utah tomorrow to attend my cousin Jessica’s funeral. Of course we got some chocolate milk for Andrew. He is so spoiled and he loves it.

He is using his fire toy he got. FUNNY BOY!!!

002 So we had a surprise call last night…it was Cis, the swim teacher, and she said she had an opening for Andrew at 4:10 pm if we wanted it…of course we did so today we went to swim lessons. We were late though b/c I had lost track of time but Cis was very understanding and cute with Andrew. She has parents stay outside the pool gate but there are places you can peek in and check on your child. She was so cute with the kids and really did seem amazing. She had them “monkey walk” along the side of the pool with their hands and make monkey sounds. They can jump in the water like a plane (standing all the way up), a rat (crouched a little) and a frog (crouched all the way down). Andrew chose to be a frog today but when I talked to her after the lessons she said that she is sure Andrew will be soon choosing to be a plane and did great today. She sings LOTS of songs with the kids which Andrew absolutely LOVES singing so he really enjoyed the lesson today. When I was talking to some other moms waiting with me they said I was soooo lucky to get in with Cis b/c they had to register in March to even get a spot. Wow, I really feel blessed that Andrew could have this great opportunity. THANKS MOM & DAD!!!!

When we got home Andrew was so excited to tell Mimi & Papa all about his swim lessons. He really loves learning new things and getting the positive feedback that Cis gives all the kids. On the way home I asked him if he had fun and he said yes and that he wanted to go with Autumn to her lesson later today. FUNNY BOY!!!

Another surprise was mom told me to go find some legos for Andrew to play with and I didn’t find the Legos right away but I did find old toys and computer games I played with when I was little. Andrew LOVED the Legos when I did find them and even got Papa to “help” him build a house later that evening.

After playing Legos Andrew decided it was time to swim with Autumn. I really am grateful they get along so well…most of the time.

Autumn was being way sweet and even gave Trace a drink.
