So we decided to get out of the house on Saturday & got to the local rodeo! It actually ended up being pretty expensive but we did have fun as a family & it was great to walk around & get some sun!
Andrew LOVED riding the horse…I know it really is a pony but every time I called them ponies Andrew would quickly correct me that he was going to ride a horse not a pony! Funny boy!
Then it was on to the petting farm, which was thankfully FREE!!
Andrew also was a “farmer” for a day while he helped gather eggs, apples & potatoes which obviously were not suppose to all be in the chicken coop but oh well! Whatever!
Then we went to go see some of the animals. I don’t know why but as soon as Andrew saw these bunnies he ran over to them. Luckily one of the bunnies owners was right there so he actually got to touch one too! YEAH!!
How could it be the Rodeo Austin without a LONGHORN? So of course we got to see a longhorn but we also got to see the baby longhorn too. CUTE!!
Andrew really LOVED trying to get this horse to come to him but it didn’t work. Oh well!
By this time we were hungry so we decided to get some good old fashion rodeo food…a HUGE turkey leg, corn dog & then some curly fries which actually ended up being disgusting but the rest was pretty good tasting. Then instead of spending more money we got ice cream cones at McDonald’s on the way home. FUN FAMILY TIME!

Good for you for getting out of the house and going to the fair. It's one of those things that is more expensive than you expect it to be, but just think of all the fun memories you are making for Andrew. I'm glad y'all had fun!
