Even though Mimi LOVES newborn babies she also was SO CUTE with Andrew & took time to just love on him!
For example, Andrew had been given this list of words (I, and, the, ect.) that he needed to work on memorizing each day so Mimi sat down with him in the rocking chair & used a story on the iPad to help him start learning those words. He LOVED it & LOVED spending time with just Mimi!
Then another day after school Andrew asked Mimi to play a game with him so they played a fishing game & Mimi was so funny & really was trying hard to win but of course Andrew always won b/c he doesn’t play by the rules.
When Mimi was at the store getting groceries she also got a tub of cookie dough so her & Andrew made cookies, well Mimi made cookies & Andrew had fun eating the cookie dough!
Then Mimi decided to go sleep in Andrew’s room while he fell asleep & she said while her & Andrew were talking he offered to let her put her stuff in his room so of course she did put her stuff in his room. I just thought that was the CUTEST thing that Mimi would go lay down with Andrew!
Also she is SO GOOD at listening to him & finding out things that I never would have known, like she found out that the reason Andrew covers his head when he goes to sleep is b/c he is scared of the fire alarm going off! Wow, I had NO CLUE that was why he covered his head! I guess I need to talk to my son more often & ask him questions like Mimi does so I can discover things about him & be a better mom!
Mimi really is the BEST ever & finds enough time & energy to LOVE everyone & to make EVERYONE feel special & loved. She really is THE BEST mom, Mimi, & friend!!!

Amen to that. She is so wonderful and always does little (and big) things to make people feel loved and comfortable. We're so blessed to have her first as our Mom & friend and then doubly blessed to have her as the Mimi for our kids! Love ya!
Lexie, You are the best Mom you can be. I can't begin to describe that amazing woman you are. Being you and sharing what you share is awesome for me. I deal with despressing and when you talk about it I know I am not alone. Your Mom is great and does love everyone. But I think you are a lot like your Mom. Two beautiful woman on the inside and out, Lexie and her Mom.
