We went up to Aunt Jana’s and Rachelle & Matt came over with their cute kids, Tyson & Austin and Rachelle is due with their third in about 5 weeks.
As soon as they pulled out the train table Andrew was SO HAPPY & just spent all of the time playing with those trains.
Aunt Jana brought over Uncle Keith’s train conductor hat for Andrew to wear but Andrew instead gave it to Tyson b/c Andrew had his Spiderman hat already.
Tyson LOVES his Papa, Uncle Keith & they were so cute together.
Aunt Jana was also WAY CUTE with her grandkids, Tyson & Austin.
Gran Ruth even played with Austin. She really is so giving and tries so hard to build a relationship with her great grandkids too.
Even thought Uncle Keith had total knee replacement surgery and wasn’t 100% he still loved on us and was so kind. I just LOVE Aunt Jana & Uncle Keith!
After a wonderful lasagna dinner, Matt (Rachelle’s husband) built Andrew a even cooler train track with a bridge and everything and Andrew LOVED it!
Of course I had to get a picture of Aunt Jana with her cute grandkids, Tyson & Austin and Rachelle’s cute family before they left.

While Rachelle & Matt were taking their stuff out to the car of course the kids had to play with another train set. FUN!!!
Andrew was sad when his friends left, Tyson.
Uncle Keith helped him be happy again though when Uncle Keith showed him the BIG TRAINS and let him push the button to make the train whistle.
Uncle Keith really was CUTE with Andrew. THANKS UNCLE KEITH!!!
My Grandpa Jay was a barber so I thought that was so cool this was so cool that they named the barber shop Jay’s Barber Shop. CUTE!
Then Aunt Jana got down one of their train cars b/c they had changed it to say, “Carlyle Dawson’s Fruit Grower’s Express” b/c my Gran Ruth’s father, Carlyle was a fruit farmer. FUN!! They also had a Baby Ruth car in honor of Gran Ruth!
Then we all jumped in their BIG TRUCK and they showed us where Rachelle’s new house is being built. Andrew LOVED being up so high in the truck so he could see everything.
When we got back to Aunt Jana’s & Uncle Keith’s Andrew asked me to take picture of him with all the cool trains. Wow, a boy after my own heart!
Then Aunt Jana got out this really fun train that moved around all over the floor and if it bumped into you it would just go the other way. It also had a really LOUD whistle so Andrew of course LOVED it!
Then sadly it was time to head home b/c Gran Ruth was getting anxious about the traffic being bad so reluctantly we said our goodbyes but not before we got loves and pictures.
Andrew LOVED Aunt Jana and Uncle Keith and really didn’t want to go b/c at their house he got to be a real kid again and be as loud and crazy as he wanted, unlike at Gran Ruth’s where he had to be really quiet and only could run around outside.

Then Uncle Keith hugged Gran Ruth and was very kind to her so I had to get a picture of that!

When we got home I called Grandpa Johnson and he said he would be going down to the farm later on so we should come down too, but first Uncle Ray (my great Uncle) & Aunt Jolene came to visit Gran Ruth and boy did we have fun with him.
When I was really little he would do this toes thing which we called Timily Tut so he wanted Andrew to lay down so he could do it to him but Andrew was nervous about it so I laid down to show him it was okay. Uncle Ray couldn’t believe I was having him do Timily Tut when I was 27 years old.
I LOVED IT & Andrew loved it too and days afterwards would still ask me to do Timily Tut to him.
So this is how it goes:
You grabbed the big toe and say “Timily Tut”, then you grab the next toe and say “Slick-a-Put”, next you grab the next toe and say “Longman”, then you grabbed the next toe and say “Harvey Hiss”, and finally you grabbed the little toe and say “Little Pee Pee Anner” and then tickle the person to death.

Fun childhood memories!
Well after Andrew saw I was having so much fun he decided to lay down and said we should do it together. FUNNY KID!
After that he decided he needed to do it to me and Uncle Ray was so cute teaching him how to do it and what to say.
While we were all being CRAZY, Aunt Jolene & Gran Ruth had a nice visit & Aunt Jolene told us about a great smoothie she makes each morning and that she got a great Protein powder at Costco that she uses in it, which is what Gran Ruth needs to get more of so we are going to go to Costco tomorrow after therapy and get some.
After our CRAZY Timily Tut fun Andrew decided to read his “Who Stole the Cookie from the Cookie Jar” book and Uncle Ray was so cute about helping him sing it.
Even when I wanted a good picture of Uncle Ray with Andrew this is what I got b/c they just couldn’t stop having fun and being silly with each other.

Uncle Ray & Aunt Jolene stayed longer than I had thought they would so I wasn’t sure if Grandpa Johnson would still be down at the farm but it’s only a short walk from Gran Ruth’s so despite Gran Ruth’s insistence that Grandpa would be gone we walked down to the farm anyways just to check. Well he still was there and was SO EXCITED to see us.
First, we had fun feeding the chickens. At first Andrew didn’t even want to go in the chicken coop but by the end he was not scared of those chickens at all and was throwing grain on them and laughing and loving every minute of the farm.
To show Andrew that the chickens were not going to hurt him Grandpa had be feed the chickens out of my hands. I actually was really nervous about doing this but didn’t want Andrew to get even more scared so I just put on my brave face and did it. I actually came to love it and it really didn’t hurt at all just surprised me when they actually started pecking at my hands. FUN!!!
Then it was Andrew’s turn to be brave and so he walked over by the chickens all by his self & conquered his fear. YEAH ANDREW!!!
Then Grandpa pushed it a little too far and caught a chicken and put in on Andrew’s legs…well as you can see from this picture Andrew wasn’t quite that brave. Oh well!
By the end though he had again conquered his fear and even smiled for a picture and then even petted the chicken and was so EXCITED when Grandpa plucked a special feather from that chicken and gave it to Andrew. Andrew carried that feather everywhere around the farm and LOVED it!
Of course you can’t see the chickens and not collect eggs so that is what we did next.
When Andrew saw that there were eggs he got so excited that he almost just dropped them so Grandpa had to keep on reminding him to be VERY gentle with them.
Then Andrew helped get some water for the chickens. Look at how black and nasty that water looks. YUCK!!!
Andrew was such a good little farm helper and I think Grandpa really LOVED spending time with him.
On the way to the garden we saw some geese and Andrew just got so excited. He really did LOVE everything about the farm except the cow poop and made sure to avoid them.
Grandpa picked some apples and showed Andrew how to rub them on this shirt to clean them. The apples really were SO GOOD in fact we loved them so much that Grandpa let us take a bucket of them home along with some cucumbers we picked. YEAH for FARM FRESH FOOD!!! YUMMY!!!
There were a couple of raspberries but of course those didn’t make it into the bucket, those made it right into Andrew’s mouth. YUMMY!
Luckily Andrew picked enough apples that most of those went into the bucket except a couple that we ate right there at the farm.
Then it was about time to leave and even though Grandpa had already fed the cows he called them back over so Andrew could feed them some dried corn stalks. It was so funny to see Andrew trying to hold on as the cows pulled HARD on the stalks. FUNNY!
He LOVED feeding this baby cow and even petted it a couple of times.
YEAH ANDREW!!!
Sadly it was time to go back to Gran Ruth’s but Grandpa was very kind and gave us a ride in his truck. THANK YOU GRANDPA we had such a fun time.
Of course when we got back we immediately went and took a bath b/c Gran Ruth doesn’t like stinky dirty farm kids in her house.
The rest of the evening we just rested and enjoyed Gran Ruth’s company.
