Since our apartment is raising our rent we are in the process of looking at rental homes and trying to decide if it would be worth about $200 more to be in a house instead of an apartment.
Today we met up with Ron, a realtor that we had called b/c we wanted to see a rental home but instead we spent the whole day with him and looked at about 5-6 other houses. He was so kind and generous and knew what was good and bad in a home the moment he walked in b/c he has been doing this for 13 years and now does it more as a fun thing b/c he doesn’t have to make a lot of money b/c he is almost retired. YEAH, I am so glad it seems like we have found a GREAT realtor!!!
I LOVED some of the houses so much but the problem is that most owners want to rent the homes immediately and our lease isn’t up until middle of November. So, we have decided to hold off looking at more homes until the middle of October, but we did give our 60 days notice of vacancy to our apartment. So by the middle of November we will be moved somewhere else, we just don’t know where yet.
I’ll let you know more when I find out more and when it gets closer to the middle of October when we look seriously at potential rental homes.
